GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

What I liked about Mount Zion was that the teachers were really relaxed but wanted you to get your work done properly. None of the teachers ever refused to help a student in need even when they were busy.

The bond the students/teachers/and the small town has to eachother. We all know eachother and their family. The one thing I would love to see change is the connection with the counselor of our school and the students I know we have a lot students to one counselor but to me when she took that roll on she knew the number and help each kid with all high school stuff and seniors with all their college stuff but a bunch of us feel even parents she pick and choose who she helps. As for me my family is not well off I be first kid to graduate and go to college I (we) have no clue how get help to pay for college all we done we got no help except from college I need more.

This school shows to much favortism in academics as well as athletics. They give out stuff to peole that dont even work for it out of the pity of them... Some of the teachers are just judgmental and some of the coaches are just careless.
