Canyon's pretty great the reason I give it 4 stars instead of one is because there are some particular teachers that are kinda weird unreasonable in the way they treat their students but other then them everything else is great.

I like that canyon middle school is changing for the better and adding new lockers, textbooks, and computers but I would like to see the staff paying more attention to the students more. an example is that every student has to meet with the counselor at least 2 times every year. Students there seem to be getting more and more irresponsible and reckless.

I went to this school a year ago, and quickly noticed I was depressed because of the bullying, fights, racial and homophobic slurs constantly repeated in hallways and classrooms alike. As soon as I went to the high school, my grades shot up to straight A’s and my mental health became visibly better....

This school has been going steadily downhill for several years. Look at the Great School rating and listen to previous student and parent experiences. My kid says that he and his friends witness fights almost everyday in school. He faces incessant bullying everyday and there is nothing the staff or the school do, despite filing complaints.
