Bessie Coleman Middle School was a place where I can comfortably say, it was and still is a good school. I can still remember what it was like when I first attended Bessie Coleman Middle School. When I first arrived to Bessie Coleman, my brother and I were terrified to separate from our parents and from each other. Bessie Coleman was the first place where my confidence grew from the result of my teachers and staff, and from being part of the basketball ball team. My brother and I didn't play regular basketball before, but it's ironic because we were the best kids on the team. Long story short, Bessie Coleman was the first school for me to grow as a person.

As a student, this school is horrible. The students horrible , as they play, curse, in drama too much, very mean. And teachers are not far off. One teacher said, a student had a ''big nose''. Bessie Coleman middle school is a very active school in certain things yeah they need to work on some things like disaplaniry issues and the time spand to get to class but there are some good things.

HORRIBLE. Do not send your child/children to this school. Had a meeting with the principle and he seemed unconcern and unbothered by a teacher writing a disciplinary on my child stating her behavior is not conducive to a learning environment. This school is not a learning institution, it is a prison. This school lacks diversity. Faculty are unwilling to work with parents who actually want their children to succeed.
