GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've had some good and bad experiences. Some of the teachers don't teach their students well, while others do. The staff members are okay, but most of them are nice and caring. I enjoy getting to talk to my friends and doing our work together or studying

Although Hanover Central is a small school it is a truly great school full of positive people and it truly feels like home.

Hanover is a smaller sized district, less than 1,000 students at the high school, which allows for more personal attention by teachers and administrators. While there are a good number of clubs and sports to participate in, I feel that the variety of elective classes and course options could be improved. For example, there is only 1 option for foreign language (Spanish).

We've had two kids go completely through Lincoln Elementary and Hanover Middle School and High School. We currently have a little one that just got done with a couple of years at Lincoln and now she is off to Red Cedars. So far so good. Our boys were honor students and our daughter is turning out to...

They offer before-school tutoring, but my child (and at least one other friend) went to school early for a while but half the time the teachers for tutoring were not there. One friend (who h...

The school overall used to be good. But the introduction of Miss West as the principle has begun to bring the school down slowly. She runs the school the way she envisions it and is arrogant to anyone that things any other way; with the main issue being which classes are prioritized over others. The...

I currently go to HC and it's honestly not a bad school. With all the stuff that is going on I think the corporation is doing an okay job. From a student's perspective it's very boring though. There aren't many different classes to take to ensure student success. There are some phenomenal teachers-...
