Cedar Park Montessori School is one of a trio of American Montessori Internationale-accredited schools in the North Austin area that also includes Sapientia Montessori and Pflugerville Montessori. This distinguished network of schools offers an approach to learning that is tried-and-true. Cedar Park admits 18-month-olds through sixth graders.
Montessori pedagogy fosters independence within limits, encourages creativity and helps students develop a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. In the Montessori classroom, students learn through self-led play and curiosity. Visit and you might see young children drawing the alphabet in sand, sorting shells or emulating adult chores such as dishwashing and sweeping.
At Cedar Park Montessori, toddlers develop practical and social skills in preparation for more structured days. Primary students are charged with greater responsibility and, as a result, grow their independence. They also begin working on academic fundamentals.
