GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of my experience is that the teachers care and are involved in the students life. The worst part of my experience is that the students don't seem to care about their own personal education

I love Bibb County! The teachers are so friendly and help any way they can. I love the smaller homey feel to the school. Everyone knows everyone and we always stand up for each other. There are areas that could use help but no school is perfect and the teachers strive to help fix what they can.

I am a senior in High School and would like to see improvement in the variety of clubs and activities as well as food. Other than that, I have met many great teachers who are ALWAYS willing to help.

BCHS is an absolute joke of a school. Poor college preparation. Terrible curriculum. Michelle Williamson is a pathetic excuse for a teacher. Far more concerned with making friends with students whom at deemed popular. Pathetic.

The school has great academic courses to choose from, the only thing is the courses that students do not recieve credits for. For those students that do pass all parts of the AHSGE, they go on a trip to six flags at the end of the year. For the one who said their child hasn't passed after 7 attempts...

This school has a caring faculty who work very hard to improve their students' test scores and get them ready for college and work place. The feedback I have received from students has all been overwhelmingly positive.

This is a poor school for my children. They dont discipline enough, and they havent taught my child anything about the AHSGE. She has tajen it 7 times and still hasnt passed it.
