GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Throughout my experience at Kenston High School, I have enjoyed it. They have been numerous opportunities to take a huge variety of different classes, many of them in business and media arts, and even numerous opportunities to take different science classes, having ones for anatomy, zoology and forensics, and much more.

Great teachers and counselors. Very easy to find people willing to help you. Good variety of different types of classes. The school and grounds are well kept up.

Kenston High School is a very good school. It's not perfect but it gets the job done. The one thing I find useful is the 4 block system. I find that it gets us ready for college classes as it's 80 minutes. Another thing is they have help all around. After school tutoring, and any teacher is more than welcomed to help in the morning or after hours. The school goes out of there way to make sure its students are happy and satisfied. Due to Covid-19, my senior year was limited but I was still able to have my two seasons of sports, plus a senior night, along with well-organized prom. I went to school all year as well, so I was able to have a semi-normal year.

Kenston is a great school, with amazing teachers, counselors and staff. Moving from out of state, my child was accepted easily and the thinking seems to be more progressive and open minded. Prepares students for college, and also for other paths they may choose.

Students with special needs are very often left behind in kenston. The resources and learning materials for these students are very primitive. With the amount of funding the school system recieves there should be many more and advanced learning programs in place to help student with special needs. U...
