The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Being a 23-24 Junior about to graduate next year, I have a lot of experience. Starting with my freshman I was extremely scared and lost but the teachers and students always helped me stay on task. In CVISD I definitely felt alone a lot of the time, dealing with depression and other mental issues, I was so nervous but thanks to my band director I learned a lot. I felt so loved by my band and now I really appreciate and feel secure within our community.

So I am a junior in high school and about to be a senior in a couple of months, I have done a couple of things in the last 3 years. For the first two years I played basketball and it was actually fun. But after the second year things happened and I realized that it's not for me. But I still wanted to be around the people who did played and still wanted to be a part of the program. So for my junior year I became the manager of the varsity basketball girls and have been doing it ever since. I have joined two clubs: HOSA, which is Health Occupation Students of America, and Women's of Integrity. I haven't done much for HOSA at the moment but I want to start being more involve in it since that's the profession I want to do. But I have been involve in Women's of Integrity, I have been to 2 college tours and about to go to six flags on May 10th. I'm also the secretary of the organization and I have a lot of fun with it. Thank you for listening to my story and have a blessed day.
