GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts of my high school experience was the friends that I made in high school and the extra circulars that I did, like tennis and marching band. The worst parts of my high school experience would be having to deal with the grading policy of Competency Based Education or CBE. The teachers who taught CBE were usually unprepared/ didn't have anything planned out, and the grading policy was horrible. I would like to see the school and the grading policy shift back from CBE to the traditional grading policy A-F

Charleston Highschool offers dual credit classes for juniors and seniors which is very helpful when receiving credits for college before hand, but I would like to see more variety of classes to choose from.
