GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

L school. Don't expect any changes in the future. Student information are always given last minute and as a senior it was stressful when I needed information regarding graduation or paying my senior dues.

My best parts of going to Chambers is the friends I've made and trying out for the flag football team. The worst parts of going to Chambers was not having any classes or lunches with my friends, but with underclassmen for my second semester. Something I would like to see change is the length time of lunch and free time with friends. 20 minutes isn't enough time.

Vance High School is changing for the better (at a slow pace I admit) but the communities are still trying to keep stereotypes and rumors alive without any evidence. The school is becoming a place where students are still to take control over their education and their lives.
