All Saints Catholic School was initially launched in 1992 but was later rechristened as St. Matthew Catholic School.
Following the completion of the new school facility for the 2003-2004 academic year, the community of All Saints Catholic School was relocated to the parish campus at St. Matthew Church.
Home to the Wildcats, the school presently teaches 650 children in levels TK through fifth. St. Matthew is a part of the Mecklenburg Area Catholic School system, which means that they are one of nine in a centralized system of Catholic schools in the area.
St. Matthew Catholic School, following the curriculum created by the Charlotte Diocese Education Office, has been granted District Accreditation by AdvancedED.
Like its sister schools in the area, St. Matthews furthers the mission of Catholic education by fostering faith training among members of their community and educating the students with sound moral values.
Their Catholic education is advanced through ongoing evaluation of curriculum and instructional methods. St. Matthew’s intention is for students to become faith-filled individuals who are exemplary in their actions and enthusiastic participants in their lives outside of school.
All St. Matthew Catholic School students are educated in theology, mathematics, science, social studies, English and language arts and physical education.
The school also boasts a computer lab, art class, music class and Spanish classes.

I volunteered in my child’s classroom and witnessed the teacher on numerous occasions yell at the children, for being children. I’ve witnessed bullying that has been brushed off. Looking into moving my daughter elsewhere. Better off at a different school in MACS.

This school is not what it once was. Some of the teachers are great but if your child ends up getting one of the terrible ones, you and your child will be in for a rough year.
