Do not send your child to the school they are abusive.the dorms are disgusting and full of rats. They not have doors on the bathroom stalls. And the leadership is downright abusive!!!!

I like to play basketball here. It is a very good school for basketball. Academically it challenged me. The teachers care and the class sizes are very small which is good. Sometimes the military portion is very bad however.

My son will be going into his 4th year at Hargrave and we are beyond happy with the experience. He was always a good student and well-behaved child, but his experience over these last few years has grown him into a responsible, attentive, and empathetic young man with high aspirations for the future...

School has been amazing for our son. The focus is on developing students into young men of character and discipline with solid academic and study skills. From what we have seen, disruptive students are weeded out pretty quickly.

I agree with one of the posters in this list that suggested "buyer beware." This school allows bullying, only communicates on its end and never responds to complaints/inquiries, and sweeps illegal or unacceptable behavior under the rug. Buyer beware. The sales job is amazing but no where near reality. What they promise and deliver is on complete ends of the spectrum. There is very little communication, issues with basketball program swept under the rug, other legal incidents kept very quiet etc. The leadership plays favorites etc....
