The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

East is a very competitive school, with many activities and athletics offered. However, many things are constantly changing, such as administration and rules, so sometimes it can be quite hectic.

The school offers many different types of classes and activities. I feel like there is something for everyone. I do think the facilities need to be better though. The building is old. The food is not great either. But the new football stadium is awesome. My teachers and counselors are helpful to me. I am able to get help with assignments easily.

I would like to see the actual facilities of the school improved. The school is older and there have been no improvements or upgrades. The bathrooms are in terrible condition, The F Wing is actually falling in and was at risk for collapsing earlier this year. We need improved oversight of the students with people being held accountable. There is not enough structure or rules.
