The school is very excepting and there are many learning opportunities. When I first moved to Virginia the people were very welcoming and made it easier for me to fit in. There are many courses for everyone to take to fit their liking, and there are also plenty of challenging courses to explore. The teachers are always there to help me and guide me to success.

Hickory high school has a great academic program. Students learn well and score well on their tests. The building is well-maintained, and the teachers are respectful of the students. One problem that should be resolved is the dress code. The teachers target some students and let others slide. They are not dress coding the clothing students are wearing, but rather their bodies. I feel this is very innaproprate. Overall, I would say the school is good give or take a few flaws.

This school is the closest thing to a dictatorship you will be able to find in the United States.
