GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The campus + faculty are incredibly welcoming, kind, and encouraging. Many sports are available and popular, yet some sports don't have teams.

The teachers were very invested in my success as a student. Several were willing to stay after school if I needed extra help. They also seemed to care about me as a person. When the school closed down because of Covid, the teachers didn't miss a beat. We had one Friday off and the following Monday they were all up an running on zoom because the school had conducted a very thorough training on remote teaching for the teachers a month earlier.

The past four years at West Morris Central have been a great experience. I got to meet so many new people and create amazing relationships. I've learned so much over the years like how to build relationships, teamwork, and time management. I was able to be apart of the women's volleyball team, many clubs including FBLA, and volunteer through the school. Even though Covid took a toll on my senior year, I've learned still appreciate all that the school is doing for the students and me.

West Morris has excellent teachers, a welcoming and helpful administration, and a top-notch atmosphere. If your son/daughter graduates from WMC and you do your part as a parent they will be well-prepared for their future. This is one of the top high schools in New Jersey and was recently rated by U....
