Deer Lakes High School is a smaller public school compared to others nearby. It is not the greatest school ever but provides good education for the resources and funding available to them. The education quality has been increasing and hopefully the administration will improve as well. I wish there was more diversity in the school, I think that would improve the overall community of the school.

The teachers were very nice to the students and it felt as though that they truly wanted a connection with each and every student. The one problem with this school is bullying. The administration constantly overlooked students who were being tormented in school by others and this is one thing I feel needs to be changed.

I feel like I have gotten a really good education at Deer Lakes. From elementary school to high school, my teachers have been great. They really care about my learning and have prepared me well for college. In particular, my AP teachers have taught me so much and I was well prepared for my AP Exams. I will be able to use these credits next year at college.

My cousin went to this school and she got bullied a lot. Sometimes the staff wouldn’t care. Over all it’s an okay school
