Catalyst Maria Charter School does a great job in preparing high schoolers for college. They look out for the best intentions of the students and encourage a post-secondary plan. Even though we do have uniforms, the school does great at looking toward the student's needs. I would've enjoyed more challenging courses, like AP classes for every subject instead of just literature/writing.

The school may not be in a very safe neighborhood, but the teachers and staff here genuinely care about the kids they teach, and every year that I've attended here has made me feel more and more welcome, and more and more safe to be myself. The post-secondary team works with students very hard through all four years of high school to make sure that you are prepared for getting into college, earning scholarships to pay for college, and then keeping track of you in college so that they can offer help if you need it.

Catalyst Maria overall has been a great school. I have been attending there since 3rd grade, and I am a senior now. they have great sport, but I wish there was more. the same goes to academic. I wish that we still had engineering class throughout high school and also art because there are people that are passsionate abut those things that would've helped them in college and having a better understanding. the clubs and activities wee good there was alot and many options to chooses from which was great. Overall I would say that Catalyst Maris is a great school but I do wish tat there was more to it.
