The Good Shepherd Christian Academy is a private school located in Chicago at 3740 W Belden Ave. for preschool, elementary and middle school children. Serving Chicago's East Garfield Park, Logan Square, Humboldt Park, Cragin, and Avondale neighborhoods since 1903, Good Shepherd Christian Academy maintains a Lutheran-based curriculum that integrates faith with a scholastic mission.
Approximately 23-27 children are enrolled at the Good Shepherd Christian Academy and students enjoy a student to teacher ratio of 8-14-to-1. The school's academic program is administered by CLEF (Chicagoland Lutheran Educational Foundation) and maintains a strong focus on building students' literacy, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Focused on developing both independence and spiritual maturity in students, the Good Shepherd Christian Academy allows students to supplement their education with extra-curricular activities like chess, choir, drama, violin and guitar lessons and cooking clubs. Good Shepherd's athletic department includes volleyball, basketball and track teams.
Equipped with the latest technology, students are encouraged to use Chromebooks, iPads, SMARTboards and Office 365 in the classroom.
Blending faith with academic excellence, the Good Shepherd Christian Academy emphasizes children's emotional, social and physical progress. Promoting lifelong learning through acts of service, Good Shepherd guides students into becoming "compassionate, empowered, and principled adults."

Consider ourselves lucky to have found it in the first place. Our child has grown such an incredible amount in such a small amount of time. They have values and ethics that you just cant put a grade on.
