My name is yasmeen mujahid I have attended Lakeview School for 4 years . my experiences when I was a freshman I had to do online virtual classes because of covid I didn't get the help I needed and struggled with the work they assigned also couldn't have conversations with people there . in my junior year students went back to school in the few weeks my teacher told me to do a project about all about me and i had to present to the class after finishing my project everyone had to present it i just didn't want to do cause i had to speaks in front of everybody. Until my teacher called on me and said it was my turn I went to present but I  felt nervous and didn't want to do it until I looked at my friend who was supporting me and also telling me to be confident by that moment I had gained dependence presented my project this experience taught me to be brave also not be shy for everything cause it will provide me in the future when at college at jobs interview also workplaces.

Although this school wasn't our first choice, Lakeview high school has stolen our hearts. My son has thrived and is involved in multiple sports. We LOVE the diversity and the communication from administration. My son feels safe and supported at this gem of a school. With our current 8th grader now having her eyes set on Lake View we are looking forward to more years here.

I first knew about Lakeview through my cousin and I grew up admiring her and how she was. I had first applied to a different highschool in 8th grade but that school didn't accept me and lake view was my second choice overall best choice for my life. The staff is amazing and so many options for classes especially dual credit and Ap classes. Lakeview had amazing sports teams as well and each sport teams have created amazing friendships and great bonds and relationships. The clubs always work together and always encourage others to join. The teachers are always there for the students and especially for students who deal with mental health overall Lakeview is such an amazing community to part of. I would encourage other students to apply there everyone gets into Lakeview will make friendships for a lifetime and will always be supported by the staff. I never regret getting into Lakeview they have offered me great opportunities and has given me great experiences and friendships and classes.

We never imagined high school teachers being so connected to the kids throughout all 4 years. At first we were nervous not to have "tracks" for kids before they go there, like many Selective Enrollments or IB schools do. But we are so grateful it is purposefully not this way right up front. Our 2 st...
