A citywide network of charter schools started here in 1999 at this 9-12 public charter high school known as the Original Campus. Through the years, Noble Street College Prep in West Town has remained focused on values of scholarship, discipline and honor. Currently, around 650 students are enrolled here. The Noble Schools network spans the city, giving students access to a variety of resources. One example is the Noble League. This competition bracket pits Noble schools against each other in baseball, softball, cross-country, cheer, rugby, basketball, football, soccer and volleyball. Traditional interscholastic competition is also in play — Noble schools have secured several championships up to the state level over the years. Aside from team sports, individual creativity and discovery are also part of student life at Noble. For example, the performing arts program facilitates expression through improv, step dance, rock music, talent shows, drama and musical theater. Academics are also a priority, as evidenced by above-average graduation rates, college enrollment rates and SAT scores. With above-average ratings in most metrics, involved parents, a supportive environment and bilingual support, Noble Street is a popular school. Incoming ninth graders from across the city apply for the lottery-based enrollment system, resulting in a roughly 1-in-5 chance of getting a seat. A final note for aspiring Golden Tigers: confirm that you're looking for Noble Street here in West Town and not Noble Academy over in Near North.

The teachers and staff care about their students and they do their best to prefer them for college. Providing them with many resources and opportunities so they can understand the work that is going on in class. They have a variety of after-school so that the student can make connections with each other. They have different subjects that a student can choose from during their senior year. Seniors have a special class called college seminar where we get help for our college application and for the financial aid progress. We get to select classes of are choice like elective.

My experience In Noble Street College Prep is that they offer me the help I need when it comes to my college applications. I've had so many help from my peers and teachers when essays are being asked. I've grown so much throughout the the months that I am able to fill and do things on my own without depending on anyone unless it's necessary. I am very appreciative because with the help I've had. I know I will be going far in life.

It is a very good environment and strictness that they do for our own good. When it comes to our education the people in the building are all in it to help us with our struggles and be there for us. Our advisors we have are very relieving when it comes to going to that class because we have an adult that we are able to talk to that is there for us along the way. Its been kinda hard because me and my girls from my advisory have gotten a new advisor every year and that's kinda hard because we can't really know a person really well in a small amount of time. I had seen experiences with teachers towards direct racism with specific students but not towards me. My school tries their hardest to hear us about making changes and they make the best way possible to make a change.
