Overall Solorio is a great high school. I've been at this school since freshman year and can't complain. The teachers and staff care about the students. They motivate students to perform better and to think about their future. Parent involvement is great and highly encouraged. There's really nothing negative I can say about Solorio. They have plenty of student activities and academic help resources. I've tried to take advantage of all that is their to offer for the good of my future.

Great school academic wise. Great STEM courses. You can start engineering in your first year and computer science. This allows you to take a stem pathway and leave early to go study at a college. Many advantages like being in an honors society and getting to leave during lunch. OneGoal is a seminar program where you have greater resources for your postsecondary pathway but if you're not in the program you still have a lot of resources to help with your postsecondary pathway. The school isn't diverse and there isn't a sense of community amongst the students.

Solorio is a second home to me. Counselors that care about you. Teachers that take the time to TEACH and help you find you passion. Dean's that keep the school safe and you will never see anyone fight in or around my school. They helped me get through health issues by reaching out to me daily and giving me extra time to complete assignments and keep my high GPA. They have programs like Genesys works, which gave me an internship, Pose and other various programs that helps out the south side residents.
