This school has prepared me for college and life beyond like no other possibly could. Latin breeds incredibly motivated students that are ready to change the world. While it has its issues, as every school does, I would choose to go to Latin 10 times over. The food is so good too.

When you're inside the Latin School of Chicago, you'll feel like you're in a spacial place, and maybe you'll find a way for yourself there as a student or teacher. There are times you will enjoy the experience. When it's all over, though, you will look back and realize that the Latin School of Chicago hollowed you out and filled you up with something dense and immovable, something that weighed you down so you could never move the way you wanted to. You'll realize you are not the same as you used to be, and not in a good way.

My school is all about embracing diversity and providing a welcoming environment to all of its students. The faculty always aims to help in any way possible and the teachers are so supportive of their students. Classes are usually small which is one of the benefits that the school promotes.

I would rate my experience at this school a 10/10. Latin has developed me into the strong, confident, hard-working, resilient, and passionate person that I am today.

Terrible experience at the Pre-K. Some parents were able to hold children a year behind, so there is an age gap. Teacher focus on pleasing parents more, than on educating kids. No structure, too small class sizes. No diversity.

My daughter transferred to Latin in the 3rd grade and continued through high school. It was an excellent experience for her. In college, she often wrote about how well prepared she was for college. She went to an Ivy League college. At Latin, she learned how to think, how to study, how to aim high,...

I must tell you that my son's experience has been the mirror opposite. Yes there are some kids that come from vast wealth, We DO NOT h...
