GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Chicopee High School was good and bad. I transferred to Chicopee High School from West Springfield High School due to moving, but when I first moved it was the best. Whether it was some students or the administration/staff wasn't all too well. But now in my senior year, my third year here, I'd say it has changed. It is a more diverse more respectful community and opportunities. I have made my closest friends from Chicopee High classes and sports.

Chicopee High School has great staff that is dedicated to bettering their students' education. I could tell that my teachers were focused on my success and watching me grow. There is no tolerance for personal electronic devices in the class in order to ensure full focus and attention. On the other hand, the students that misbehave could be shown more discipline and restriction.

The school has things to improve but it's a solid place for a good high school experience. Go Pacers!

Although the teachers are all nice and know how to teach the administration creates a toxic learning environment for students.

I thought the school was great. The teachers give you every opportunity possible to graduate. Also, the ROTC class is amazing.

To all people that said teachers didn't care for their children education the problem was that your children behavior to teachers is horrible, no respect, don't do any homework . Believe i was there and gradua...

I went to this school and it doesn't prepare students well enough for college preparatory exams. I can recall not knowing one student in my graduating class scoring over a 1300 on the SATs, which is below the average of the college I attended. I had to work a lot harder freshmen year to catch up to...
