GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Childress High School provides a good structure for students overall and gives needed guidance to students, parents, and faculty alike. They place a heavy hand on sports and are readily increasing classes and opportunities to the best of their ability.

It's honestly quite boring with little opportunity to do anything exciting. Not to mention some of the coaches don't even teach like they're supposed to and give kids passing grades no matter what. It's an okay school.

Childress High School is a good school however, It should offer more extracurricular activities. The school should also try to prepare students for college in a proper manner.

Great school, great community, and great unity. I've been to many high schools, but the sense of pride to be a Bobcat is so strong here. I love it. Go Big Blue!!
