GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

One thing that always sticks out to me about Chouteau high school is the small-town and small school kind of feeling you get when you come here. I have been at Chouteau for all of my life and there is no other place that I wish I could have gone to. I absolutely love this place, it is where I grew up, I have made several meaningful relationships with other students and even many teachers. I am gonna miss Chouteau when I go off to college a lot. Overall I think this place is pretty great and I have made tons and tons of memories and life experiences here that I will take with me no matter where I go.

The amount of academic opportunities this school has is very low. Some of the teachers are subpar. We only offer spanish as a foreign language, so we can only do that. I wish that we had more academic opportunities for academic excellence.

They do not learn like this when they are beginning to read. Very quick to diagnose. The principal a...
