I would say the best part is the school culture or the school spirit. Most sports are extremely competitive so some people don't even try to enter. College readiness is definitely prioritized and there is a network of support, yet you may find that it is hard to contact counselors at times.

Having the opportunity to learn in such a great community has been such a great blessing. I have always felt like I am one step ahead of the game going to this school and being ready to graduate, I'm supported from all my peers and teachers. But, i'd love to see our bathrooms change and the way we handle student fights throughout the campus I would say that we don't have the best policy when it comes to fighting that this school and I feel it can improve

Eastlake high school is a great school, the only issue is with the current administration, who is limiting the ability to express cultural differences of students.

School is racist toward Native Hawaiian minority populations. School admin will hold students against their will, keep their phone so they’re unable to call their family, and refuse to let them walk in graduation just for wearing leis. Abhorrent breach of personal agency and freedom of expression. No respect for students or other cultures. Admin is more concerned with keeping flowers away from a graduation ceremony than doing their jobs.

This school does not take good care of their students many of the teachers there are rude and talk very crazy to students. This school does not take school threats as seriously as they should. it is literally impossible to be attentive at this school. i’d say a solid 2 teachers (in my experience) have given proper attention to their classes (updating grades AND engaging students). also this year of all years has been having the worst grades for so many students it’s kinda mind boggling. n...
