Cicero East Elementary School has been serving students for more than 100 years in the Cicero community. This public school has about 300 students in fifth through sixth grade. As a part of the school's mission, faculty members strive to motivate students to become lifelong learners and productive citizens. The school uses a positive environment that promotes academic excellence to achieve this goal. Cicero East uses its mascot, a wolf, to inspire kids. It encourages students to be wolf tough, which enables them to have grit and perseverance and be resilient and passionate. The school has staff, such as bilingual educators, to help the population of students whose first language is Spanish. Cicero East doesn't just focus on the core curriculum offerings. Students can engage their creative side in music and art classes. As far as extracurriculars go, Mathletes, a coding club and a tech club are offered for students. In fifth or sixth grade, children can also participate in the school's intramural sports.
