GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was pretty good for the most part. I enjoyed the people some teachers but most of all school spirit and sports. I thibk finneytown ahould change the way they teach as well as other schools and teach about our future and money and everything else.

I would love to see more clubs and extracurriculars as well as more sports. I think that it's very important for kids to have more variety in sports and be able to do things they enjoy. I think there should also be more electives to choose from because there aren't very many and there aren't as many that people would be really interested in anymore.

For me Finneytown is a great school. Most people are friendly and easy to get along with. Every school has its bullies so I won't talk about that. Teachers make work fun and engaging and the amount of homework isn't extreme. The worst thing I can think about my school is the building itself because it is very old and lacks air conditioning, and most bathrooms are on the lower side of the spectrum. Still a very great school and I would recommend to any young families look for a place to settle.

We have only been here a few years and we are leaving. Finneytown seemed perfect for our family. Suburban school with diversity. What it lacks is having a handle on its students and there isn’t any true discipline. My child was assaulted 4 times in one month, did everything he was supposed to do in...

Horrible school, the school lacks resources (new books, software, technology, and computers) to effectively teach its students the skills needed to be successful after graduation. The majority of teachers are overworked, unequipped, and do not possess the skills to handle the students in the classro...

I am a student currently enrolled in Finneytown Secondary Campus. Most of the teachers are genuinely enjoyable to be in a class with, and a lot of them teach well. The counselors, on the other hand, are awful. They rarely, if ever, listen to students. Whether it be about college prep, bullying, or p...

My families experience with Finneytown Schools has been amazing. My eldest daughter graduated in 2018 and was able to take classes at UC her senior year. She's now a Junior at UC (on partial academic scholarship), with a 3.77 GPA in the Biology program. My youngest is going to be a Sophomore and is...
