The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is a great option if you want to avoid other Cleveland schools like Collinwood or East Tech. I may not be perfect but the school is slowly improving by offering tutoring and more clubs and sports for students. However, they could benefit from adding more creative courses and better lunches. Overall the school is pretty alright. 3.7/5

Horizon offered me a lot of opportunities and set me up for a lot of things that most schools don't. Horizon had great teachers, faculty's staff. The only thing i would change would be the students. The school itself is great.

This school is a great school, if has the best staff and some of the staff. Children would consider their fake moms and be comfortable with going to them for any problems, the only bad things is they don't go on field trips but overall it's a 5 star school
