Newton D. Baker School of Arts is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and teaches children in pre-K through eighth grade. Recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, it focuses on students obtaining a rewarding educational and arts experience. Students receive an education infused with visual art, drama, technology, music and movement to teach reading, math and science, among other core subjects. Sports and extracurriculars include chess club, art club, dance, cheerleading and soccer.
This school values its community partnerships with the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, Eaton Corporation, Kamm's Corners Development Corporation and Red Seal Electric.
Newton D. Baker's students have been recognized with multiple awards from the Stop the Hate contest in writing and a sing-off and national art awards. The school is also recognized as the school district Middle School Basketball Champions and chess championships.

This School has too many problems! Fights breaking out and teachers getting assaulted and only giving a 2 day suspension, kids just seem to roam around the halls and teachers do nothing about it when these kids should be in class! The foul language I hear coming out of some of the students as young...

I don't know why this school has a rating of 3, i would give it a 20! All the staff is exceptional, all the teachers are amazing and caring! The best teachers and school i have ever seen! We were considering moving to a different state due to personal reasons but i am very disappointed at the school...

My children loved attending this school. All the teachers were so friendly and attentive. The principal is very attentive also and is always there to answer questions.

I believe someone is posting false positive reviews to boost the rating. Come on, four reviews with five stars all written on September 9th. I am giving it two stars from my child's experience there.
