Anderson County High School has a wonderful staff and a kind community that is willing to help whenever help is needed. The atmosphere at the school is incredible especially at the Friday night football games where a large part of the student body comes out to support the football team, band, and cheerleaders.

This is a great school; I would highly recommend it to anyone. I feel like I am safe every day and I am cared about by many of the teachers. There are many clubs, with a club for everyone. I especially love the Anderson County Career & Technical Center (ACCTC), which promotes C&T training for everyone. The teachers at the ACCTC are amazing and involving.

While Anderson County High School is a safe school and has plenty of decent staff, there are a lot of politics involved within its community.

More drugs in this school than the pharmacy next door. If there are kids smoking/vaping in the restroom, and your child is in there NOT associating with them, they will still be expelled for the year, no questions asked. Daily fights, kids threatening to "shoot up the school" and they get suspended...

All around a great experience. I wouldn't go back and change the kids' school even if I could.

ACHS is the center of the community. Football & basketball games are packed. 30+ club for ACT is cool.
