I've had a good experience at OM; there is a rather strong sense of community, supportive teachers and administration, and sufficient academic rigor (excepting AP economics, sadly doomed to never run here). It seems to me that the staff in this school all want to be here, specifically, and that's a really nice feeling to have.

Amazing 10/10. I don't really think anyone other school can compare. Not perfect but definitely one of the best I have seen.

Oakland Mills High School as a whole is pretty diverse considering it being the smallest high school in howard county. There's an overpopulation amount of students that are of minority groups. They also offer a wide variety of subjects that students can explore. But their facilities it falling apart due to their renovations being held back each year with the next expected one being in 2035. I would like to see the school thrive and get bigger in the future.

This school may have somewhat of a bad rep but that is not the case at all. This is a great school and offers the opportunity for students to grow as a person. I loved every second of high school here.

Oakland Mills is a small, diverse, and community centered school. It is a school where students are welcomed and encouraged to excel academically, socially, and athletically. Even though it is small in numbers, it competes with the best schools in the state and nation academically. Perhaps the best...
