My experience with Columbia High School was memorable and fun. I love the school itself, it's huge and modern. I made a lot of friends and my teachers were cool and relatable. The assistant principals treat everyone as if they were family. I will never forget my high school and I cherish all the memories.

Many people believe Columbia is a rough school with terrible students, academics, and sports. Although I disagree, being at Columbia high for the past two years has made me realize that there is nothing wrong with Columbia High but the location of it. We have amazing teachers passionate about their job and student's ready to learn. But I feel like as a school we hold on to our past to much and how the school used to be.

I moved to SC recently and enrolled my son who is 15 in the 9th grade, in Columbia High. If your child has an IEP, this is the worst school to send them. If they have to be in a "Self Contained" class, they will get no credit for attending high school only a certificate at graduation for attendance....
