According to its mission statement, Hyatt Park is a place that fosters respect, encourages social-emotional learning, inspires academic achievement, and promotes safety and community responsibility for all. The school is home to youngsters in pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade, with a student-teacher ratio of 12-1. To keep the community updated on academic progress, the School Improvement Council issues an annual report sharing details each year. There is continual forward momentum toward reading and math goals. Students at Hyatt Park can participate in various activities and clubs, including its WBTR daily news show Beyond the Roar, Cougar Chorus, a fitness club, the Hyatt Park Drum Line, safety patrol and student council. HYATT PARK AND GIBBES THESE ARE WONDERFUL SCHOOLS MY SON GRADUATED 2013 WITH GOOD UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE I WOULD TRULY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TA ANY PARENT.
