Columbus School for Girls serves local children of all ages, with programs ranging from pre-kindergarten and elementary through middle and high school. Located in the heart of Bexley, this private school has empowered girls to discover their limitless learning and leadership potential for more than a century.
Columbus School for Girls was intentionally designed to establish a college preparatory program that supports the unique needs of young women. This esteemed institution goes beyond a standard curriculum to foster skills ranging from critical thinking and collaboration to empathy and cultural competency that carry its students to succeed throughout their lives.
Athletics are a core focus for Columbus School for Girls scholars, beginning with Unicorn Sports in the lower school. As they advance to middle school, each girl is encouraged to explore participation in at least one sport. When they reach upper school, the young women compete in a wide variety of programs including field hockey, golf, soccer, basketball, swimming and lacrosse. In addition to building confidence and teamwork skills, the level of exposure created by this progression supports many girls in their dreams of playing at the collegiate level.
Students are encouraged to break barriers, ask challenging questions and create new ideas while stepping into their power as scholars, leaders and change-makers.

Good, rigorous academics and great teachers who seem to care. Though academics are highly influenced by very very liberal policies. Far left politics have NO place in school should not be forced upon our daughters who we need to develop into strong and mature women. CSG simply does not produce women such as these but indoctrinates them.

Overall very positive experience. Sometimes the administration is questionable, but that seems to be an issue at every school. The teachers, food, and community are the best part mostly.

Overall CSG is a school in which you will be able to learn your power as a female in the busy world. We often get distracted by how important it is for females to learn their power and as an individual who is part of a minority and seen as someone who "doesn't have enough skill" even when my abilities are far and beyond my peers is crucial when trying to start your footsteps into the world. This 2022-2023 school year is my first year at CSG and the absolute encouragement and support that I've gotten from not only teachers and staff but students themselves have led me to be able to be more courage's and progressive in my studies. I was blessed to have been able to come into a space where I'm encouraged and supported and be able to show individuals that I'm not another "stupid black girl" but an African-American educated young woman.

The administration needs an overhaul. This used to be an ELITE school. Some of the reviews say they can’t believe the bad reviews. I can’t believe their good ones. Only families with large donations survive this school.
