I love Horizon for the academics. The school is not really big on sports or pep rallys which kind of is sad. It would be nice to have a bigger building other than that I would have no complaints Its really great for academics and for college prep. They also have us take classes at Columbus State

When I worked here, there were still chalkboards in classrooms, and the teachers had to punch in and punch out like factory workers. It was very demoralizing. Students were told they were receiving a high-quality education, and many of them believed that, but in reality the academics were extremely poor. The science classrooms were very poorly equipped. It just did not feel like a place of learning or a community.

My best experience at Horzion was being able to take college classes while still in high school. My worst experience is not having more sports options.

This school is awsome. They have great teachers, diversity, and every student is involved in a club every thursday. I have been to several different schools and this is by far the best schoool i have ever attended. My only complaint is the school lunches and the small building

Horizon science academy is a good school in my opinion. I just finished my freshman year there and I enjoyed it. The staff at this schools works hard with very little--little support, little, respect, little money. Test scores are the main priority at this school. Experimental math and science are not.
