Road to Success Academy offers specialized technical programs, flexible class schedules and individualized learning approaches to prepare students in ninth through twelfth grades for life after high school, no matter their path. Located on the east side of the North Linden neighborhood, this public career prep high school features an education plan prioritizing dropout prevention and recovery. A member of Ohio's community charter school program, Road to Success Academy is independent of Columbus school districts and tuition-free for students seeking nontraditional public educational settings. Informed by research-based best practices, Road to Success Academy helps students identify their academic and career goals before putting them on a path to achieving them in an innovative learning environment. Each student's plan is tailored to their specific interests and needs, with the flexibility to pursue their education while keeping up with responsibilities and life outside school. Road to Success Academy offers a variety of special assistance programs to reduce obstacles for its students including childcare support, transportation, counseling, career guidance and help securing government benefits. In addition to completing the requirements to receive their high school diplomas, Road to Success Academy students embrace opportunities to earn industry-recognized credentials and certificates across various in-demand, high-paying careers in fields with significant opportunities for advancement. Road to Success Academy strives to equip every graduate with the skills and knowledge needed to be competitive in their chosen career path and the job market.
