GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience with Connellsville was a good one, the teachers (especially in honors and Ap) prepare students for the college like and what to expect in the aspect of college work. They include diversity in sports, activities and many more.

I personally really enjoyed being a part of the clubs, the marching band, the color guard and the musical. However, the school had problems with bullying and vandalism of the bathrooms. They would close the most of the bathrooms in the whole school for both the boys and girls because the boys bathrooms were always getting vandalized.

Organization and communication from the district is poor. Many of the teachers are outstanding, however, providing good support for students in whatever they may need. The teachers help shape the students lives, while the district lets things go unhinged.
