Some teachers lacked engaging with their students to set them up to succeed. Overall their main goal was to move you along rather than help you understand.

My experience at Oak Ridge was very great. I liked how there was school spirit present especially in pep rally's and parades. There was also so many ways to get connected to a club/ organization. Teachers always provided resources that could help with their classes. The only downside was the threats that the school received anonymously.

I would say the best parts of my experience is the people you meet and the connections you make with people. The worst part of my experience would probably be how crowded to school could get sometimes.

This causes a problem when you are trying to make sure your child is tur...

Great community! All kids should join wrestling. Coach Morgan is the greatest coach out there. He is involved with all athletes, and overall is very good at coaching the sport. He deserves a raise.

Oak Ridge has a diverse racial and socioeconomic group of students and very little problems with bullying and drugs as compared to other high schools in CISD. Teachers definitely care.
