GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is very well school. It could use some improvements the bathrooms are falling apart. You don't feel that safe teachers could be mean you only take priority if you have money or your parents have money or you're skinny pretty and so on. if you're not skinnier, pretty people don't really talk to you. The teachers don't really pay attention until you do something wrong and if you're not as pretty or thin, you get in more trouble or your punishments worse than skinny people get or prettier people or kids that their parents have a lot of money

As a queer student, as well as a woman my experience at Cottonwood High School has not been ideal. The blatant homophobia and sexism I have experienced within the many years I have spent here has greatly contributed to the many insecurities I currently have. I, as well as many other queer youth, would very much appreciate and more welcoming and understanding environment.

I absolutely hated my time at cottonwood high school. I didn’t hardly learn anything academic and the kids there were so rude and didn’t want to learn.

Cottonwood is very behind. They are in need of a new principle. Change cannot come when you have someone stuck in the 60's. The school only seems to support football, not education. I am not impressed.
