GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My time at Forsyth Central has definitely been unique. The school is a hub of diversity and you can tell most of the teachers want you to succeed. My peers also strive to do their best and the courses we take are rigorous. Students are constantly trying to help each other and complete assignments as much as possible.

Overall I like the way the school makes an effort to create a sense of community. One change I'd like to see is upgrades to certain parts of the facility. In some places they school is newer but in others it is falling apart...literally!

I enjoyed my friends and the lessons I have learned from being there. I have had some really good teacher and some really bad teachers. The administration throughout my time has never stayed the same nor did I feel cared about. There were two admin I felt had my best interest in mind, but when I have asked for help or notified them about a situation it seemed as if my concerns were swept under the rug.

She is now failing 3 classes because the teachers don’t lecture! They just make power points and make the...

My son went here and had a great experience. He got into the colleges of his choice with scholarships. The academics left him well prepared for the mechanical engineering program he is in at Clemson.

We had two children graduate from FCHS (2018 and 2016). Both were very well prepared for college after going through the STEM program. We were out-of-district and it was worth the drive and the inconvenience.
