GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I'm only a freshman but they really do force you to be independent with assignments and grades the teachers can be fussy

My personal experience with North Paulding has been seamless. I have had typical High school drama but nothing crude from the school.

North Paulding was an amazing school for me. It was filled with much diversity and many people to meet and make friends with. Although I may have had some ups and downs with teachers and not agree with their teaching patterns, I am grateful to have a school with many resources and being able to have as many pathways that were needed for different people to find who they truly are. There was never a moment when I didn't feel safe and felt out of place. It is a very welcoming school and will never forget it.

It was cool. The teachers were nice and helped me when I didn’t understand. The rigor courses give students a challenge that they might need.

Teachers are discouraging and I have seen my child's grades increase without retakes or explanations so they pass a class. They have passed a preliminary course with no understanding of the basics and then must proceed to the next level with nothing retained from the first class. They are spending h...

We specifically moved here so our kids could attend this school — and we have not been disappointed. The teachers and staff make themselves available for consultation at most any time. There are tutoring options. The JROTC program has a great group of leaders. Our son was directed towards physics an...

North is an excellent school. I am so glad we moved to this area. All the teachers are very helpful. The counselors will work tirelessly to make sure your student succeeds and graduates. The communication methods they use for parents and students, are like no other I have ever seen. There’s no reaso...
