Serving young learners for over 90 years, John S. Bradfield Elementary School is one of the elementary schools operating within the Highland Park Independent School District. Various items of blue and yellow can be found throughout the campus, representing the school’s colors. There is plenty of outdoor play and activity space on the school grounds in addition to an outdoor garden to enhance student learning. Educators strive to meet the needs of the whole child through special programs. Students can receive special education and dyslexia services, as well as a Talented and Gifted Program for students who are nominated and pass qualification testing. The PTA and the dad’s club support the students and staff at Bradfield Elementary, while the Bradfield Broncos participate in the many events hosted by the PTA like the Reading Rodeo and Annual Bradfield Carnival. The PTA also hosts fundraising events to support the school’s teachers and administration's needs for educational resources. This stunning school is located off Southern Avenue in Dallas. Students zoned to attend Bradfield Elementary live in Highland Park and the nearby Park Cities.

If you don’t come from money, forget about it. Nepotism is alive and well here and the kids are miniature versions of their parents. If you are a minority, you will be excluded and bullied. The teachers do very little to promote diversity and inclusion as it’s not important to the wealthier families...

I am a former student of Bradfield elementary, and I loved it! I wanted to go to school and I loved my teachers. I could really tell they were devoted to their job.
