I liked the small environment DL provides. Everyone knows everyone and it's a very close knit community. However, coming from a public school, they lack educational depth. The teachers weren't always the best, not pushing students to their full educational capacity.

Dallas Lutheran gave me many opportunities to get involved. Dallas Lutheran provided a good environment for me to learn and also grow in the Christian faith. The teachers truly cared about me beyond my grades.

I have two students at DLS. This school has been fantastic for both. One takes a more traditional track of classes while the other takes all AP and Dual Credit and both are involved in a wide variety of extra curricular activities. It is nice having a school that both my children can attend and both are challenged at their level. The teachers truly care about their students well being, body, mind, and spirit.

Please do not send your child to Dallas Lutheran. The terrible shape that the school is in now is because of years of dishonest, incompetent, and sinful mismanagement and greed. They could build a state of the art building, but the ones entrusted with your children are still rotten, so it won't matt...

There is not a single educational environment that is perfect. No school should admit being the right place for every student. All three of my children have been or are DLS students. The environment is small and personal. The teachers and staff are very engaged and interactive with the students. DLS has been a wonderful place for my son. He has thrived in a small, nurturing environment. For any kid who does much better being a big fish in a small pond, you can't beat DLS!
