This is my 9th year at Hyer, with my second child being half way through. Hyer is an impeccable school. Great staff, teachers and Principal Gilbert is second to none. Happy upbeat environment as every elementarty school should be.

Hyer is an outstanding elementary school. First, parent involvement is amazing. Most parents, Moms and Dads volunteer for something to make the Hyer community better. Our oldest went to Hyer before we put him in private school. Hyer is over-crowded, the facilities and technology are outdated and the teachers are just okay. When he got to private school he was so far behind the other kids, it took him forever to catch up. If you can't afford private or if your kid...
