The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have spent my 11th and 12th grade year at Justin F Kimball High School. It has been a good experience overall compared to my last few schools I've attended, though I must comment that my fellow students at Justin F Kimball High School could stand to be more well behaved and academically honest

My experience at Kimball was excellent and the best parts about it was the people I had around me and my fellow teammates. The worst parts of it would be the fights that went on sometimes because of the impact it had on our school and when the cops would could come and pepper spray in the hallway we had to evacuate the school a lot of times but I think that it sent a message in times. The things that I probably would like to see a change in is the development of the students. I think we should have had more teacher that cared and thought encouraged the students to do better. I think the reason the situation was the way it was because some teachers say the students as bad teens or teenagers that just didn't follow rules when in reality a lot of them was just misguided and needed a direction for someone to show them that they actually care and that they can actually be someone one day. Although the environment was kind of rocky I don't think I would change my experience for the world.

Justin F.Kimball isn't such a bad school how everyone says it is.I have been at Kimball for 4 years now and I have had a good experience most of the time. Most teachers aren't rude and stuck up like you would think. The students there is what makes the problems. The service there can sometimes be bad but most times it's good. The classes you actually learn in the classes it might be that few that you don't only because some students aren't discipline.

Besides all the bad things there are some loving staff that make an effort to help kids learn and are down to earth and will make learning fun and simple. There are good opportunity's here sometimes and good people around here that want to improve the school but sadly this school needs a lot of fixi...

The teachers nor the students put effort to provide and receive a decent education. I didn't want to believe what other people said about Kimball, but it was all true. Its sad that students and teachers don't care about education.

The school does not know how to put students in the correct classrooms. Many students scored lower than average, yet They're in Pre-Ap classes, which adds at least 2 points to your semester average. It isn't fair to be putting students who want to graduate at the top of their class in regular classe...
