We have had a great experience at Lakewood from leadership at the top from by Ms. Wilkie down to the teachers and front office staff. Very pleased with the talent of the teachers at this school and they care about the students.

Poor communication and lack of accountability & integrity from the principal (Thompson). The staff from teachers, to administration, and principals fail to comply with the obligated education codes of conduct. My child will NOT be attending another year!!

Both of my sons attended Lakewood Elementary. The teachers and community are supportive, and the academics are rigorous. The outdoor area (LOLA) is awesome for those of us who love being outside- it's a little trail system on the grounds of the school and was always my kids' favorite part of it.
