This has been an incredible school for me. The people are amazing and I get a normal high school experience with higher education standards. However, I wish magnet schools could have sports so I could swim without having to drive an additional 30 minutes to and from practice as well as waking up at 5:30 in the morning.

Oftentimes you'll hear stories about schools with teachers who aren't really invested in their student's education, but it's honestly rare to hear stories akin to that here at TAG. Given that the teachers here are willing to help and offer support as much as you're willing to let them, finding good mentors doesn't take much effort. :D My favorite part is that education is something you'll learn to value a lot more than you did before— best part is, you wouldn't be the only one to value it. The peers you'll find at TAG have a myriad of talents and ideas that adds a little spark— plus you'll be acquainted by everyone in your grade pretty quickly !! There'll be moments where it might be intimidating given how high-achieving everyone seems to be, but in time you'll find your own place and set your own pace. :) When it comes down to it, all you have to do is give it your best and the rest falls into place!

Overall I really enjoyed my time at TAG. The courses were challenging yet fun and I got to be surrounded by people with great personalities and challenged me intellectually. The teachers are great and truly care about their students.

TAG has a great reputation. The principal and office staff are fantastic. My kid was a freshman this year. Some teachers are great at communication with parents but most are not. They prefer to let the student handle it, but the point is to have students thrive and succeed, and sometimes, communicat...

I love this school so much! I believe that high school is the perfect time to be challenged and pushed, and that the rigorous academics at TAG help prepare you for college. For those that say it's difficult, they're absolutely right, but the hard coursework and tests are made manageable with the exc...
