I had a mostly good experience. The best parts would probably be the friends I made and the teachers. The worst parts would probably be how clique-y Hday can be and the microaggressions that minorities still have to face.

I enjoyed my time at Hockaday so much. The teachers were so incredibly passionate about us actually understanding content. One thing I will say is that I wish life skills were emphasized in the curriculum

The confidence that I've seen blossom in my daughter has been life-changing! Hockaday teachers care about their students and the small classes are helpful. We have found some amazing friends in the Hockaday community. We love our school.

I went to Hockaday for eight years. There is a beautiful campus, good education, and usually pretty good teachers. However, the workload and stress amount is insane. Everybody at this school is very self-centered and competitive. If you want to go the all-girls route, it is arguably the best school in the nation in terms of academic and athletic programs.
