Labeled a “microschool” due to its tiny class sizes, The Saint Timothy School is a private parish school located in the Uptown area near downtown Dallas. The school, offering a classical and Christian-based curriculum, has classes from pre-kindergarten, starting for four- and five-year-olds, through 12th grade. At about a 50-student enrollment size, the school has a low student-to-teacher ratio for greater individualized learning opportunities. Mixed-grade level classrooms also allow students to intermix with younger and older grades throughout their scholastic journey.
Saint Timothy emphasizes three fundamental stages of learning: grammar, logic, and rhetoric. It provides students with a Christian education that begins and ends each school day with a worship service. Students also have plenty of hands-on learning opportunities—from art and music lessons to onsite gardening and caring for the school’s chicken coop.
Enrollment includes admission testing, with tuition starting at about $7,000 annually. Students are required to wear school uniforms.
The Saint Timothy School is a ministry of The Chapel of the Cross Reformed Episcopal Church. Located near downtown Dallas, Uptown, Highland Park and University Park, Saint Timothy serves families throughout the Dallas area.

We send all of our kids to St Timothy's. This school is a hidden gem in a city with a lot of expensive private schools and severely lacking public schools. The teachers are very effective at teaching the kids to be academically strong but more importantly, how to have moral character. We plan to hav...
